Detalles de la observación
Red-winged Starlings (Onychognathus morio) prefer high rocky areas for nesting and have adapted well to human settlements. Red-winged Starlings are conspicuous birds at the Olifants Rest Camp Kruger National Park, and can be seen taking a range of fruits, insects and even food from the unguarded plates of restaurant patrons. This female Red-winged Starling had an easy meal as she picked dead insects from the radiator grille of our vehicle, while her mate looked for food on the pavement nearby.
