Detalles de la observación
These two adults were in the SE corner. Mid-sized terns (bigger than Least/smaller than Royal). Bill was good-sized with a noticeable taper: thick at the base and narrowing to a fine point. Bill was mostly orange but with a dark tip. White bellies contrasting with gray mantle. Primaries when perched were dusky but not dark. In flight they showed whitish primaries on the upperwing. Both birds were starting to molt. I heard no vocalizations. Common Tern was considered but bills seemed too substantial and flight feathers weren't dark enough.
