Detalles de la observación
Very nice surprise singing and giving great looks at Ridgefield Point. First heard singing at a distance, and I suspected it was not a YRWA. Then it went silent, but I waited for a while and it flew in to a treetop - I thought the pattern on the underside wasn't right for YRWA but I couldn't see its head, then it moved and I could see its throat. Its lores appear to be pure white. It foraged in mixed woods, including conifers and deciduous trees, and came down to eye-level. The only other county record I'm aware of is one or more birds at the Montour Preserve in 1974, as described in "Birds of the Central Susquehanna Valley" by Allen Schweinsberg. 41.1068,-76.6572
