Detalles de la observación
At the time these were identified as Turdus ignobilis (sensu lato) but this was before Campina Thrush even existed as a concept. Given habitat and plumage they are clearly arthuri rather than debilis. The individual was trapped in an island of classic campina alongside several other campina specialists. Alexandre Aleixo, who published the paper describing Campina Thrush, checked these images and concluded that the individual shows classic features of Campina Thrush. I can confirm that this individual also looks distinctly different from standard Black-billed Thrush which occurs nearby. This is a retrospective first record of Campina Thrush for Bolivia.
