A Cobb's Wren perching in gorse, calling, then flying away. Cobb’s Wren (Troglodytes cobbi) is endemic to the Falkland Islands, but now only occurs on rat-free islands. Cobb’s Wrens are most often seen foraging along beach strandlines, taking small invertebrates and sea lice. This bird was perching in introduced Gorse, sunning itself in the early morning and calling before flying off to call from a nearby perch. Elevation: 10 m. Date added to IBC: February 10, 2019.
