A ranger we talked to mentioned we were allowed to access at night without a car by walking along the road. The website also says the forest is open 24 hours, but the gate closes at 17:00. No playback, and virtually no lights (we used a red light briefly when a few were near the road, but we did not bother them, and never left the main road except to pass a few meters down an established side trail at one point). One bird did an aerial display one meter over our heads (we did not use a light; visible by naked eye by moonlight). One by one count; we could hear up to four at once. Most were singing, but some were doing the short call (females?)..... Un empleado del bosque indicó que podemos entrar sin vehículo luego de cerrar el portón. El acceso es de 24 horas a pie; el portón está acertado a las 17:00. Sin playback, sin luces con la excepción de una luz roja cuando hay Guabairo muy cerca de la calle (y solo por un pocos momentos cada vez). Fuimos en la calle por todo tiempo, sin un poco metros de un sendero establecida. Lo conté uno por uno.
