This record had lain dormant in my photo files until Feb 2019, when I consulted Peter Pyle; here are his comments (shared with his permission): "Overall it does look better for an SY LENI to me. The outer primaries appear very worn, faded, and pointed, indicating juvenile feathers. Molt to p5/p6 and then suspended (or maybe a primary has dropped? I can't tell from the photo) would fit timing for the second prebasic in LENI and of course the molt and the worn juvenile primaries does not equate at all with CONI. P9 appears to be about the same as p10 which I suppose isn't that useful but doesn't rule out LENI. I'm not sure what to think about the wing patch but maybe this is an SY female LENI, which can have pretty reduced patches. "
