A pair, responding to playback. One of the birds came very close (less than 5m to microphone), the other stayed further away. At the edge of gravel road, the closest bird stood 1m above ground on clump of dead twigs and branches, in the understory of native forest. Much noise from moving vehicles in nearby paved road (partially removed by high pass filter). Also on tape: Sooty Ant-Tanager (from far), others.
