Detalles de la observación
"***MEGA. Scott Whittle and I arrived at Prime Hook from the Cape May Lewes Ferry around 5:30 pm. After an hour of searching with many other birders someone finally spotted the Black-tailed Godwit at a fair distance. The best vantage point was from the second pull off on Prime Hook Road, although the photos I took were a bit closer by standing on top of the car over the phragmites. We left the bird after a half hour of viewing. The bird flushed once and just by pure luck the only focused shot was taken when the bird was lifting off showing it's underwing. Many thanks to the local birders spanning out and looking from multiple pull offs then sending a car to tell everyone else where it was found. Fantastic!
