Detalles de la observación
I am still not quite sure what to make of this thrush. When I photographed this bird I thought it was just a strange looking Veery. Its song sounded close enough to a Veery that I didn't even notice it was off. (At the time I didn't know what a GCTH song sounded like, it is close enough to that of a Veery that it wouldn't have tipped me off at the time). Speckling on breast looks a little off for both species, although I have seen Veery with a similar pattern. The light shining through the tail does not appear as orange as I would expect for a Veery, and the overall colour seems quite brown.
