Taken with iPhone night shift, no binoculars.
Beobachtungsdetails
Heard the duet from our backyard and walked down to nearby field. My parents have heard GHOW from our backyard many times. We saw one fly to the top of a tree. Eventually located it while listening to duet and got some poor quality iPhone photos - the nearby light pollution and white background from the clouds was our saving grace. Suspected two, then saw them fly away together, moving along the tree line! Some suspicion about a shape at the very top of the tree above the first owl being the second owl (duet calls sounded very close together). We also heard a third calling from farther away (same direction as the pair flew). Did get some ok/decent Merlin sound recordings and will try to upload.
