More Evening Grosbeaks dropped in today with the flock swelling to 44 or more. Not nearly as many as on December 15, but I think its the second highest count I've seen here. They behaved differently today, more excited, a lot of rushing the feeder, some squabbling. They seemed a lot hungrier than the ones hanging around and feeding here daily.
