Beobachtungsdetails

A few birds heard and seen. One mound was built on an ancient adze-processing site in second growth forest -- an amazing sight. The locals set a snare to trap the bird. Note that this subspecies of the SE islands differs in various ways from the mainland one--smaller, darker. So these photos of the soft part colors are relevant for comparison.
