An unseen silvereye singing from a tall tree in an urban garden. Blackbird in the background. - this is a call that puzzled me for a long time when I was starting out. I would hear it in my garden and in the backcountry - very different habitats! - and it was some time before I finally saw a silvereye giving this call and managed to put a face to the sound
