Looking at their tracks, this group came into our yard from the woods to the west, spent a lot of time scratching and foraging under our bird feeders, and then moseyed southeast into a neighbor's property. I didn't even notice them until they were almost gone. Just had time to grab a few fuzzy shots through double-paned glass. Took some phone photos of their tracks in the snow too.
