Beobachtungsdetails

I spotted the geese foraging in the grassy field east of Hwy 1 at the entrance gate to the Pt. Piedras Blancas Lighthouse. They were quite a ways out in the field but immediately flew up and then landed much closer to my location. I initially thought one might be a Snow Goose but all had a straight edge at the base of their bill where it meets the face.
