Pale looking overall as it worked the wind above the tail race, obvious smaller size compared to the nearby GLGU; in fading flat light outer primaries looked light gray/brown; underside - body and underwing coverts light gray/brown, lesser and median coverts being darker than greater, undertail appeared darkest, white head and bi-colored bill; comparing to references a 2nd cycle Thayer’s seems likely
