Medium-large marsh bird with long yellow legs, large yellow feet and long un-webbed/non-palmated toes. Purple and green plumage all over, white tail feathers but no white on sides/flanks, to distinguish from Common Gallinule. Bill was kind of a drab-reddish with yellow tip; with dull-colored upper face shield, not the light blue of an adult PUGA so suspect this individual may be a first-year still coming into full adult plumage.
