along river channel at approx. 34.02546, -118.05268 , just upstream from the rise in the bike trail. Responded to a recording with calls and eventually a view. Given the habitat and season, I was planning to try in a few spots, and luck had it that this bird responded within seconds on the first attempt. Photo.
