At least three dark looking hatch year, birds hunting in the dump; first set of 10 photos shows a HY with abnormally white tail base- it really stuck at some distance. Considering plumage variation and lack of full understanding of abieticola and harlani, gonna leave this one....Last set of four is a dark bird, again, presumably within abieticola range but I'm bothered by dark terminal band (not a clearly demarcated band) scalloping on leggings, small bill, really heavily barred flight feathers, messy patagial, to the point of wondering about RLHA influence...
