NOTES: #5206. Recorded in morning. Songs. Level higher after 4.00. No reflector. Magnecorder. Also heard: chorus of frogs, some wind from 1.00-1.15 and 1.55-2.23. [This is essentially the song of the species, including both types of Regularly Repeated Vocalizations (RRVs; see Smith, W. J. 1969. Displays of Sayornis phoebe (Aves, Tyrannidae). Behaviour 33:283-322). The 100 vocalizations represent about equal numbers of RRV1s and RRV2s, which typically alternate with one another. The bird gave two RRV1s together at 0:55-1:01, 1:20-1:24, 2:50-2:55, 3:37-3:41, 4:13-4:18, and 4:22-4:29, and three RRV1s together at 4:38-4:53. Two RRV2s are given together at 0:13-0:17, 1:15-1:18, 1:28-1:32, 2:00-2:03, 3:23-3:26, and 4:07-4:10, and three RRV2s are given together at 3:43-3:48. There is a single Locomotory Hesitance Vocalization at 3:02. Quality changed from 2 to 2, 2-1 (BEST parts are at 1:28-2:01 and 4:30-4:43) - CAM - 14 April 2005].
