Beobachtungsdetails
Regularly occurs here. There was a mixed flock of AMCR and FICR in the parking lot and on top of the Dick's Sporting Goods and Marc's Grocery buildings. Then they started mobbing a Cooper’s Hawk. A few minutes later, the hawk and all the crows flew off over the buildings, heading southwest. I'm just guessing at the numbers for each species, but although I clearly heard both, it sounded like there were more AMCR (or at least the AMCR were being more vocal). When the flock was in flight, a handful of the birds seemed noticeably smaller than the rest, although I admit I usually cannot discern the size difference visually. The admittedly bad photos attached were the only ones I could snag of a bird while it was giving the FICR call. (For the most part, I was hearing both calls but unable to tell which individuals were giving each call.)
