Continuing. Mixed flock of red and yellow birds with crossed bills, thin forked tails, dark unmarked wings, and spotted undertail coverts. In pine and pecan trees around 24th and Canton Ave. Most red birds were a little patchy in their plumage with some still having some yellow (noticed one still had a yellow throat). At one point a Cooper/Sharp-shinned was hunting in the pecan they were in. They started distant and by the end they were feeding on lower branches right over our heads! The last group feeding by us flew to the west. Great looks :) Counted as they flew by in small groups. Pics and recordings.
