Beobachtungsdetails
small, faint but discernible eye-ring, short primary projection, weak wing bars - not a an EAPH (although one was present - it was one of the contrasty ones typical of mid-winter). Bird was not much larger than YRWA, of which there was one perched in the tree above it just before I took this picture . . . *note: although I'm convinced that it is an Empidonax sp, and likely a WIFL, several respected and experienced observers have suggested strong "EAPH vibes". I don't think its a Phoebe for the following reasons: (1) size - as noted, not much larger than a YRWA from direct comparison; (2) there was an EAPH present, and it was a typical high contrast winter bird with dark cap . . . but I'll bump it back to "flycatcher sp" - not much different than "Empidonax sp" in terms of output
