Triple black triangles on wingtips

🔴 **rare; Chautauqua county dream bird!! Was about to give up on lakewatch when I spotted this bird on the pier at the edge of the gull flock. The black legs and solid yellow bill were unmistakable for adult kittiwake! Shortly it jumped off the edge of the pier and gained altitude, circling around the harbor. Landed on the pier once more before flying NW out to sea.
