Beobachtungsdetails
RARE. Flushed from deep in marsh while canoeing. Bird initially flushed from think grasses like a bittern. I first noticed the pinkish brown head with a pink bill juxtaposed by the black belly. Once bird got further away, large white wing patches were easily notice able as I watched the bird land back into the marsh. Eventually bird flew once more deeper into marsh and seen then by many. Overall bird was acting very secretive and easily flushed. Photos.
