NOTES: BNA: Possibly the "Clapper" vocalization heard, which is described as "chock-chock-chock-chock-chock-chock-chock-chock" or a series of "cac-cac-cac" or "jupe-jupe-jupe". CZ 17/02/2004. [This is indeed the "Clapper" Call of R. l. saturatus, based on range (following BNA, where I suspect Figure 3a erroneously depicts this call as the "Kek-hurrah"). The three sets of calls here appear to have been given by at least two different birds. See also Figures 2 and 3a of Massey and Zembal (1987. Vocalizations of the Light-footed Clapper Rail. J. Field Ornithol. 58: 32-40). Quality added (3 - the first set of calls is decapitated and there is a change in gain during the second set) - CAM - 6 April 2005]. Number of individuals=UU2+;.
