Remarks: Saw a pair of Olive-backed Pipits foraging on the ground under some trees at this delightful park (possibly the best bird watching site in the city). They have this curious behaviour of disappearing (when alarmed) up into a tree and appearing on the ground again, almost like a magic trick. Unlike our local Pipits who run further away on the ground. - AS . Date added to OBI: October 17, 2012.
