**RARE | Continuing bird first seen yesterday, 29 September 2016. I first found this bird in the northern part of the airport sitting on the Medway Road fence line around 1350. The bird stayed on the airport side of Medway Road throughout the time I was there. When I left around 1615, the bird had moved closer to the airport offices, and was foraging out in the fields of the runway area. Behavior: Would perch on fence or on ground. Hunted for most of the time I was there, successfully catching insects, typically grasshoppers, and other unidentified prey. Often would run on the ground, as well as flying down from a perch on the fence to capture prey. At one point the bird took off circled a few times gaining elevation, and plummeted in a dive. On 4 or 5 occasions, the bird would fly up to the fence directly in front of us, and allow for fantastic opportunities to study this bird up close. There no reason to approach rare birds beyond a respectable point, but this bird would fly in to distances that were much closer than I feel comfortable getting to a rare bird. It was an amazing experience with a stunning bird.
