Beobachtungsdetails
Male. Its a known spot where we waited near a tree. White-bellied Blue Flycatcher came first and within a few seconds, Blue-and-white also appeared. Same blue shade above but darker velvet-like blue on the breast as an inverted neck band and hence the velvet-blue reaching flanks. Blue tail with some dark on the central tertials as a traverse central band, white bases to tail very clear when sallied. Made a hard flycatcher-type chack-chack call while perching low. Face from side is velvet-blue and also portion above bill. Black bill and legs. Two longest primaries closer than the rest of the primary bunch. Bird stuck to upper canopy but at times reaching lower, on the hanging branches above the road and once it sat for a good 3-4 minutes at a low perch without moving - otherwise was very active. Finally the bird dived towards the opposite side, crossing the road. (On return, the bird was on the same tree - as seen from the car. We did not stop and let it be there)
