Continuing rare bird. Small short tailed sparrow with buffy yellow face and breast. Light streaking on the breast. Pale gray auriculars. White median crown stripe. Bold alternating dark and pale stripes on back. Photos. We parked at a short street stub off Red Rust Lane and found the LeConte’s Sparrow about 100’ from the end of that street stub in the taller grass.
