Adult with one of the four recently fledged young.
Beobachtungsdetails
Driving along noticed an adult standing on a post. Stopped next to it, and after a moment it fluttered down to stand beside a second adult and four adorable little chicks. One adult vanished and the chicks scattered and scurried back into the field, but after a few minutes they all came back toward the fence. The adult continued to walk along slowly, watching us and calling quietly with all four chicks in tow. A second pair a few kilometers further down standing in field, and one bird heard while watching Sharp-tailed Grouse.
