She was tapping at and removing pieces of bark, apparently eating something. She called in response to another conspecific in the distance. She then flew to a different tree where a male was sitting on a horizontal branch. She jumped on his back for a fraction of a second. He then mounted and mated with her -- all the while they were making constant, quiet calls. Specific location: Latitude 39.575464, Longitude -78.056623. Elevation 156 meters.
