NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial paired. Gen. Climate: Arid. Gen. Habitat: Mountain ridge. Cover Density: Medium.) [Seven songs, all of roughly the same song type, in addition to a descending "wheer" at 0:43, a bluebird-like whistle at 1:11, and Contopus-like "pips" at 0:535 and 1:255. I further suspect the series of notes at 0:435-0:445 and the chatters at 0:055, 0:105, 0:15, 0:215, 0:305, 0:355, 0:40 (the BEST example, though still not good), 0:445, 0:495, 0:55, 1:02, 1:05, 1:16, 1:275, and 1:385 were also given by this species, though apparently not by the singing bird (at least in most cases). Quality changed from 2-3 to 2 (at least for the songs) - CAM - 1 June 2005]. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Canyon.
