Walking slowly across a paved road, seemingly unafraid. This bird took 3 or 4 minutes to cross a 2-lane paved road, doing a slow shuffle and tapping its front foot, perhaps its strategy for detecting worms. It stayed in place as a car passed, and tolerated the photographer approaching to within about 15 m. Elevation: 89 m. Date added to IBC: June 21, 2016.
