Papuan Grassbird lowland taxon. I had long wanted to get a recording of this little known taxon, whose call seems a bit different to that of the highland birds with which I am most familiar, I suspect further research will show cryptic species in this group. Here you can hear sporadic quiet "chup" notes and a disyllabic chirp near the end, above the insects and frogs also vocal in the rain. Elevation: 22 m. Date added to IBC: September 18, 2019.
