It spent an hour hunting in the neighborhood. It got a sparrow in the Chamisa. Flew away with it when a dog interrupted the meal. And, it came back for seconds. Not sure if it was successful
Beobachtungsdetails
Hunting like a Cooper’s Hawk, diving into Chamisa. The spots on the back confused me. Is it a Juvenile Cooper’s or a Goshawk? Did not have the bright head or orange tinge to chest feathers
