About halfway down the spit with the SAND and BBPL on the harbor side. Crept in behind the tall grass above the beach for photos. Left the birds alone after I had sufficient pics. (I posted images of both individuals.) As I returned to my car I saw the flock disperse when a woman with a dog walked right through them. Sigh.
