Adding these records from my old field journals; no further details available. I noted in my journal that this Blue Jay was found along Roadrunner Trail and that the species is accidental in the LRGV. The bird was photographed and photos are in the Texas Photo Record File at TexasAS&M with Keith Arnold. Also see American Birds 39(1):77. There was a massive movement of Blue Jays across many areas of South Texas this season.
