Beobachtungsdetails
First record for county. Heard near the western boundary of the conservation area, south of the road running through the area. At the time, I thought it was an unusual YBCU so the voice announcements in the recordings name that species. After returning home and doing some comparison, I realized it is probably a BBCU. It would call in regular sequence, then go quiet for a few minutes, then resume again. Each recording below is the same bird, separated by the longer periods of silence. The breaks within a recording are shorter pauses when I tried to move between 30-50 meters closer to the bird. Can also be heard in the background of YBCU recording ML111576571.
