Poznámky
Recording by David Kazdan. Recording Times: 17:16, 17:26, 17:29, 17:36, 18:33 (UTC -5). Temperature: 27 C. Habitat: Deciduous Forest, Freshwater Marsh, Riparian. Background species and behavior notes: Baeolophus bicolor, Corvus brachyrhynchos, Vireo griseus, Zenaida macroura, Melanerpes carolinus. This recording includes a number of different songs from a single male Northern Cardinal. Some songs include the terminal trill, and some wander off into a bit of the robotic-sounding song. This bird had been attacking his reflection in our car mirrors (which we covered). During the recording he was in a nearby tree, coming as close as 2-2.5 meters from the microphone. Single songs at 3:07 and 4:42 have distortion due to overtopping. The final section of this track, beginning at 10:23, was recorded using the Olymus LS-11 internal microphones. Specific Location: Latitude 29.42922665, Longitude -81.78683041, Elevation 8 m. Ocala National Forest. Lake Delancy East campground. ID'd by Sight & Sound ; ID confidence 100%.
