Continuation of moorhen fighting. Two individuals would get too near each other in the middle, and the other two would quickly beeline towards the center throwing plumes of water behind them.

Spent about half an hour observing this pond. Over that time, four Moorhen repeatedly engaged each other. Initially spotted as two groups of two on opposite sides of the water. Two individuals would get too near each other in the middle, and the other two would quickly beeline towards the center throwing plumes of water behind them. They would engage in splashing, kicking, dunking, and loud squawking over several interactions. At one point all four were engaged in fighting. After they would split back into pairs, and swim back to opposite sides of the water with their back ends high in the air.
