WOW! Amazing continuing rarity found yesterday by Mariah and Luis. First LIVE Alachua county record. Typical nighthawk shaped bird giving bouncy flight. White on wings closer to tip than expected for CONI, flight style more laterally acrobatic favoring flying at a relatively stable altitude as opposed to the more vertically acrobatic CONI. Seen originally flying near the entrance to Sweetwater, over the woods between cell 1 and the Sediment Basin before moving out into cell 1 and beyond. Photos
