Poznámky

There are two utility poles, opposite sides of the road, and they were covered with these doves. This is the one on the east side. More flew in after I took this photo, then they all took off and appeared to settle into shrubs on the west side. There are 25 in this photo.

Podrobnosti k pozorování

Carefully counted, all on electric wires as we drove past. We drove back and parked to count and photograph them. They continued to fly in, then quickly flew down into a shrubby area, apparently to roost (or feed). All were gone within a few minutes, so we were fortunate to drive by when we did.
