Wow this has been a tough lifer, hunted in 5 states. The Okeefenokee has met its reputation. After hearing the song, and after traipsing thru saw palmetto scrub for 90 minutes (long after inadvertently stopping this list) trying to triangulate the source, I finally found him perched, singing, 25 feet high on a pine branch- much higher than I’d been looking- the guides say “no more than ten feet off the ground. “ video, pics, and voice recordings. Yay for lifer! Will celebrate with beer and cigar!
