Poznámky
An immature (the "right" owl) calling near its sibling (on the left). This video shows the "right" owl TRILLING repeatedly. The second video is 2 minutes 8 seconds and consists 3 parts (because I deleted quiet periods in the original 5-minute clip). The "right" owl calls in the following sequence, where T trill, S squawk (the usual begging call), and C bill clacking: Part 1, TTSSSTTTSSTTTTS; part 2, STTTTTTTTS; part 3, STTSSSCSCSSSTTTT. The 3 parts are 53.2, 27.5, and 48.1 seconds each. Only in the last part is the "right" owl's bill visible, showing the bird opening its bill while trilling. The calling bird had been holding a hidden prey item (a small unknown) for at least 10 minutes before I began recording, hence its drooped wings.
