Field notes: On dark forest floor. Brown, thrush-like bird; briefly seen with binocular; first thought was Pale-breasted thrush but seemed different. Made careful steps towards it, when it flew away a short distance, making a call. Made another step, resulting in another call, and then a third call after another step, which I recorded.
