Lifer! Great spot by Junior roosting along the roadside where they cut it out from a cliff. First cliff area didn't have the bird which Junior had seen there this morning, but we found a different bird roosting at the second cliff spot we checked. F. Apparently the females only roost in the cliff habitat, the males with the long tails prefer perching on a branch to let their long tail feathers hang down. Great close looks at the bird as she slept, just a few feet away from the passing traffic (not really any traffic tbh but still). Reportedly only LTNI is around here not STNI, but we did note the only rufous was limited to the nuchal collar area.
