*rare. Unusual in the county. Small brown duck with a patch of white behind the bill and eye. Classic stance while standing on rocks by the water. Found on the east side of the east jetty from the pier. First seen standing on rocks and then swimming and diving. Loosely associated with a couple bufflehead.
