Podrobnosti k pozorování
Decent size, Myiarchus flycatcher. Coloring overall somewhat pale and subdued with brownish-gray upper parts and peaked head, notably pale yellow belly becoming light gray at the breast with a whitish throat, and gray face. Two whitish wingbars seen, on drab brownish wings with noted rusty cinnamon-colored primary edges, along with rusty cinnamon-colored undertail. Overall appearance impression was that this individual was smaller, with smaller bill, and less vibrant colors when compared to a GCFL. Mostly moving from the ground to porch railings, and back again. For the most part, staying mostly on the ground or no more than 10ft above it. Seen scooping up a few insects at times. Holding wings in a somewhat "droopy" position. Observed lots of side-to-side head movements, giving it a "curious" behavior. First seen around 12:45 with Graham and Dave behind the units that back up to the small pond before flying to the Nedde Lane area and eventually up to Little Pond Rd.
